At ola we're committed to running a modern responsible business.

For us this means creating luxury products with a conscious attitude and careful thought to the impact each will have on our planet.

We partner with makers that share our values, with most of our outside manufacturing in the hands of family run businesses. When working with a new company we'll ensure it's an ethical one and in line with our own values.

We are committed to change. Constantly evaluating  our environmental impact and and utilising cutting edge materials.

By investing in these recycled and sustainable materials we’re prioritising the protection of our land, our wildlife and home of the future.

PAPERS

When ola was founded we were proud to say each of the papers we used were FSC certified. Five years down the line we're able to go much further.

We use a selection of truly innovative materials - the papers from our Conscious Collection are made using waste from food production,  saving mountains of almond, citrus and corn from landfill. Our signature shades of grey are made using 100% recycled fibres, saving forests full of trees. By investing in these recycled and sustainable materials we're prioritising the protection of our land, our wildlife and home for the future.

PLASTIC

Plastic is one of the most dangerous materials to our planet's health and we are committed to ending our use of disposable plastics.

Wherever possible we choose recyclable packaging, you won't find bubble wrap going out in any of our parcels.

When we must use plastic, for instance in the display of our cards, we've invested in a biodegradable alternative. 85% of the cellophane we currently use will have decomposed entirely within 10 years and we're working hard on an alternative for the rest.

CHARITY

In 2018 we made our first pledge to charity with the launch of our Conscious Collection, promising to donate 5% of the profits from each item sold.

We're making this donation to Cool Earth, a non-profit organisation that's committed to protecting our rainforests by supporting their indigenous communities.
